Our guidance Prophet Mohamed teaches us that beside monies, a smile is also a donation, a good word is a donation, enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one’s legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the feeble with the strength of one’s arms all of these are charity prescribed for you.

The monies you pay in taxes go to many places, such as paying the salaries of government workers, your tax also help to support common resources like  police and firefighters.
Tax money helps to ensure the roads you travel on are safe and well-maintained. Taxes fund public libraries and parks. Taxes are also used to fund many types of government programs that help the poor and less fortunate, as well as many schools.

PAYROLL GIVING

Are you an employer ? 

Payroll Giving is a way of giving money to charity without paying tax on it. It must be paid through PAYE from someone’s wages or pension.

It has many benefits for organisations, including financial, aiding staff retention and improving CSR.

Make deductions each time you run payroll. The donation will be taken from your employees’ pay before tax but after National Insurance.

Send the donations to your agency – they’ll pass them on to your chosen charity.
